Raw material preparation:
Select high-quality non-GMO starch raw materials such as corn, potatoes, cassava, etc. The raw materials are pre-treated by washing, peeling, crushing, etc. to remove impurities and obtain fine starch granules.
Starch extraction:
Advanced extraction techniques such as enzymatic extraction, acid-base extraction, etc. are used to separate pure starch from the raw materials. The temperature, pH value and other conditions are strictly controlled during the extraction process to ensure the integrity and quality of the starch.
Starch modification:
The extracted starch is modified several times to improve its physical and chemical properties and make it more suitable for making Transparent HALAL Capsules. The modification methods may include physical modification (such as hydrothermal treatment, microwave treatment, ionizing radiation treatment, etc.) and chemical modification (such as esterification, etherification, oxidation, etc.). Physical modification usually involves the use of physical means such as heat, mechanical force, and physical field to change the aggregation state of starch and improve its thermoplasticity. Chemical modification is to introduce new functional groups or change the size of starch molecules and particle properties through esterification, etherification, oxidation and other reactions between starch hydroxyl functional groups and chemical reagents. During the modification process, the reaction conditions, such as temperature, time, pH value, catalyst type and dosage, need to be strictly controlled to obtain the desired modified starch properties.
Refining and drying:
The modified starch is refined to remove unreacted chemical reagents and other impurities.
Use appropriate drying methods, such as spray drying and drum drying, to dry the refined starch to an appropriate moisture content.
Quality testing and packaging:
The dried modified starch is quality tested, including purity, particle size distribution, moisture content, viscosity and other indicators.
Grade and screen according to the test results to ensure that the product meets the quality standards.
Qualified products are packaged and stored for subsequent use.
